*HR Generalist

The HR Generalist, a direct report to the HR Director, will function as an internal strategic business partner and consultant to help build organizational capability to meet financial and strategic goals.  Develop and implement value-added HR strategies in the areas of: organizational and staff development, staffing, performance management, employee relations, compensation, reward and recognition, succession planning HR administration, etc.

Key tactical responsibilities include developing/implementing and coordinating policies and programs related to staffing, training, employee relations, and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for supporting all recruiting functions including facilitating recruitment process and working closely with various hiring managers in developing recruitment strategy, candidate sourcing, initial screening, interviewing, reference checking, and selection.
  • Follow up with candidates verbally and in writing to maintain interest and/or provide notification of hiring decisions.
  • Support and manage training initiatives.
  • Document information, partner with manager to draft written communication to appropriate individuals, and participate in unemployment hearings (as needed).
  • Manage all documents and time sensitive records and information relating to FMLA, STD and LTD activity.
  • Managed company benefits programs for Medical, Vision, Dental and 401(K).
  • Ability to facilitate Performance Management process and activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

 Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite to include Excel, Word and Power point - must be proficient with formulas.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible experience in HR required.
  • Demonstrated aptitude in more than one area of human resources (e.g. employee relations, benefits, recruitment, organizational development, EEO/affirmative action).
  • Solid understanding of Federal/State laws and compliance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to research and analyze various types of data information.
  • Working knowledge of HR related laws/regulations.
  • Demonstrated track record of participating in programs that resulted in improved efficiency and measurable results for the organization.

*Medicare Consultant/Biller

Besler Consulting, a leading healthcare finance and operations consulting firm based in Princeton, NJ is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented healthcare Consultant to complement it's Revenue Cycle team.

 

Our successful candidate must have a proven track record in abilities to perform the following job tasks/duties:

Review and utilize information supplied by assigned properties to accurately and timely perform Part A and/or Part B Medicare billing and adjustments in accordance with Medicare regulations to include PPS and Part B line item/HCPCS services through FISS/DDE. Audit and follow up on un-paid Medicare balances, using the electronic inquiry system to resolve problems in claim processing. Provide support to assigned properties as needed by answering general Medicare information and PPS questions. Prepare and post adjustments as related to the billing and payment of Medicare claims. Address and resolve Return to Provider claims and collect information to identify root causes of denials. Ensure the Medicare Claim Denial Notification forms are completed on all denied claims and distributed according to departmental policy. Monitor and record the status of the ADR as outlined in the departmental policy.

The ideal individual should have 7 to 10 years experience with billing and collections as well as revenue cycle consulting in the healthcare/hospital industry. A proven background in the healthcare/hospital industry and consulting services is preferred with a strong concentration in hospital revenue cycles. Along with a demonstrated ability to proactively bill and collect funds in a hospital/healthcare setting.

 

The qualified candidate must possess excellent organizational and analytical skills along with exceptional oral/written communication skills. Must know Medicare Billing. Must know how to audit and conduct follow-up on un-paid Medicare balances. Must have the ability to travel as required. *Manager, Revenue Cycle

 

BESLER Consulting is a national consulting practice seeking qualified individuals for its Revenue Cycle Consulting Team.  Professionals should have experience in the critical areas of a hospital’s Revenue Cycle Management, including: Patient Access, CDM, Charge Capture, Business Office Operations from an inpatient and outpatient perspective, Denial Management, Managed Care Contract Validation and Customer Service.  In addition, we seek individuals with knowledge and understanding of Medicare and Medicaid reimbursement methodology.

For this position, we are searching for individuals with at least 5 years of Revenue Cycle Management experience with an advanced degree.  Prior consulting experience is a plus but not required for the right candidate.

*Senior Manager, Financial Services (New York Region)

Our ideal candidate must possess an in-depth knowledge of the federal and state reimbursement regulations, specifically Medicare and NY Medicaid. The incumbent must also have substantial experience in project management as they will be responsible for managing a variety of consulting projects on a day to day basis which are focused on various aspects of a hospital’s reimbursement. Additionally, must be able to identify and provide a wide range of financial services to hospital/healthcare clients that include cost report preparation and review, New York Medicaid rate reviews and appeals, financial impact modeling, strategic analysis, and regulatory analysis.

The ideal individual should have 7 to 10 years experience in hospital reimbursement as well as financial services consulting in the healthcare/hospital industry.
