BESLER CONSULTING'S NEW YORK OFFICE EXPANDS PROFESSIONAL TEAM
(PRINCETON, NJ) October 6, 2005 --- BESLER Consulting's New York office has expanded its professional team with the addition of Christine Cox, RHE, CPC-H. Ms. Cox of West Shokan, New York will serve as a Senior Consultant in the New York market.
Phil Besler, President and Chief Executive Officer of the consulting firm, made the announcement. Mr. Besler said Ms. Cox's arrival at BESLER Consulting, New York is in keeping with the company's strategic approach to expand its team of professionals in the New York area.
According to Mr. Besler, Ms. Cox has over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry with expertise in Patient Financial Services and Health Information Management. Prior to joining BESLER Consulting, Ms. Cox founded Christine Cox & Associates in 1995, where she served for ten years as a Management Consultant specializing in revenue enhancement and operational improvement. She has provided extensive coding, documentation, and auditing services for all types of medical providers throughout the state of New York.
Ms. Cox is a Registered Healthcare Educator and a Certified Professional Coder-Hospitals. She is a Board Member of the Ulster County School-to-Work Partnership, the Vice President of the Hudson Valley Women Business Owners Association, a Steering Committee Member of the Northern Hudson Valley Job Services Employer Committee, and the Secretary of the Hudson Valley Chapter of the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC). She is also a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the National Association of Healthcare Access Managers.
