BESLER CONSULTING AIDS COLORADO-BASED HOSPITAL TO ACHIEVE SYNCHRONIZATION BETWEEN NURSING AND FINANCE
(PRINCETON, NJ) November 2004 ---- BESLER Consulting, a leading financial and operational consultancy to healthcare providers, has announced its successful endeavors with the Denver, Colorado-based hospital, Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital.
Phil Besler, President and Chief Executive Officer of the consulting firm, made the announcement this week (November 1, 2004).
Mr. Besler said that the engagement helped to provide Exempla with additional tools to utilize for budgeting, variance control and analyses to proactively measure the hospital's performance. BESLER Consulting has successfully rolled out flexible budget reporting for the nursing departments as well as other clinical departments.
Prior to BESLER Consulting's consultation, Exempla identified that while nursing managers were superior clinicians, they lacked the financial knowledge to manage valuable clinical resources. As a result of working with BESLER Consulting professionals, Exempla's nursing managers are now taking the lead in understanding and controlling resource needs.
Mr. Les Hirsch, FACHE, Chief Executive Officer of Exempla Saint Joseph Hospital, has expressed overwhelming satisfaction with the BESLER Consulting engagement.
