BESLER ACQUIRES THE PFS RESOURCES GROUP
Besler Consulting, a leading financial and operational consultancy to healthcare providers, has announced its acquisition of The PFS Resources Group.
Phil Besler, president and chief executive officer of the consulting firm, made the announcement this week (June 30, 2004).
Mr. Besler said the acquisition of The PFS Resources Group is in keeping with his company's strategic approach to business expansion and its development of parallel product lines. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
Founded by James Yarsinsky, CPAM, the company provides interim staffing and recruitment of Revenue Cycle personnel. Mr. Yarsinsky, will be the president of the BESLER affiliated company.
"This acquisition will enable us to meet the market demand for revenue cycle interim staffing and recruiting services," said Mr. Besler. "As the complexity of the revenue cycle increases, employee turnover rates and the need for temporary staffing have correspondingly increased."
"Mr. Yarsinsky established a reputation for providing responsive, reliable and cost effective services," said Mr. Besler. "His expertise in patient financial services, combined with the BESLER Consulting resources, will enable us to provide our clients with timely access to quality candidates."
In addition to his responsibilities as President of PFS Resources, Inc., Mr. Yarsinsky will also provide client services in the position of Senior Manager for BESLER Consulting. In this role, Mr. Yarsinsky will continue to serve clients with his revenue cycle expertise.
