BESLER CONSULTING EXPANDS JCAHO TEAM SENIOR NURSING SPECIALIST IS RECRUITED
(PRINCETON, NJ) May 12, 2005 -- In recognition of increased client demand for its Joint Commission on the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations' (JCAHO) consulting services, BESLER Consulting has added Linda Gehring this week to its expanding team of professionals.
Ms. Gehring's expertise includes nursing and public health, with extensive experience in program development and administration in the areas of quality management and improvement, along with patient safety and staff education. Ms. Gehring is a master's prepared RN with 30 years of management and clinical experience. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University and her MPH from John Hopkins University.
To maintain a hospital's status as accredited, the organization is required to meet the standards set forth in the Periodic Performance Review (PPR). Preparing for this review and meeting the expectations of the Joint Commission is a demanding and time consuming process.
